An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the CUH PACS Team within Imaging.

The Imaging Directorate is part of Division B, a clinical division which also includes Cancer, Pathology, Genomics and Clinical Support services. This extensive department provides a full range of diagnostic services including general and specialist plain film, cross-sectional and interventional diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, PET CT and Breast screening, all of which are connected to the CUH PACS system for image storage and review.

You will support the CUH PACS Management Team to help deliver high quality patient care in order to achieve the department’s objectives.

You will have experience in PACS/RIS and have strong interpersonal skills.

Your main focus will be undertaking and overseeing both inbound and outbound image transfer, providing a timely and efficient services for all users across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide the highest standard of work to maintain a professional inbound and outbound Image Transfer service for the Trust enabling efficient and safe patient management for all patients. •    To support the day to day running of the Imaging IT systems such as PACS/TRAD, EPIC (RIS) and IEP, and provide administrative support to the CUH PACS Management Team as required. •    To be helpful and supportive, contributing to being a communication hub for the department communicating with staff within the Trust, external organisations and the general public.
