ICC Business Continuity Lead

An opportunity has arisen to join the North West Ambulance Service as our Integrated Contact Centre (ICC) Business Continuity Lead.

This role will lead the development and delivery of business continuity and resilience strategies across our ICC operations. You’ll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure preparedness for a range of scenarios, supporting the Trust’s mission to be there when people need us most.

You will provide subject matter expertise on business continuity, oversee resilience testing, ensure compliance with Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) standards, and contribute to the development of health and safety, fire, and security procedures.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain ICC Business Continuity Plans in line with NHS and Trust standards.
  • Lead on business continuity testing and ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented.
  • Work with internal departments and external partners to strengthen resilience planning.
  • Deliver training and awareness on continuity practices across ICC teams.
  • Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Health and Safety, Fire Safety, and Security governance within the ICC.
  • Support the Trust’s strategic objectives through proactive risk identification and mitigation.
