An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS North Cumbria Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression service to appoint an experienced High Intensity CBT Therapist. The post will involve a combination of remote and face to face working.
As part of CNTW North Cumbria Talking Therapies provide a range of evidenced based psychological interventions for people presenting with common mental health problems such as depression and a range of anxiety disorders. The service delivers interventions within a stepped model of care and our team includes a wide range of professionals, including Counsellors, CBT Therapists, and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.We are a growing service based in North Cumbria and are continually looking for ways to improve and develop our offerings to clients. We operate 8am-8pm weekdays with some weekend work when required. The role of a High Intensity CBT Therapist involves delivering high quality , time limited, evidence based therapy as recommended by NICE guidelines. some of which involves;
The successful applicant will meet all of the essential criteria as outlined in the person specifications. Will be a qualified High Intensity CBT Therapist with experience of working with a range of mental health issues.
You will need excellent communication skills and will need to be comfortable working both alone and as part of the wider team.
