Job overview

This is a newly created role with key focus of providing a specialist comprehensive high quality operational service to all medical staff within the Trust.  The post holder will support the Head of Medical Workforce to drive forward high levels of performance, engagement and productivity in line with key priorities.

You will be required to work with senior colleagues across the Trust, providing clear and consistent advice on all aspects of the employment relationship to ensure that the medical workforce is well managed in a way that is efficient and promotes staff satisfaction and high-quality clinical care.

Main duties of the job

  • Work with the Head of Medical Workforce to support Care Groups in the workforce and business planning as it relates to medical staff, actively supporting the development of alternative service delivery and medical workforce models.
  • Oversee the Medical HR Advisor to support managers in the use of a wide range of ER interventions designed to resolve people-management issues early including process documents, best-practice advice, training, facilitated meetings, mediation and coaching. · Oversee the Job Planning process for Medical Staff across the Trust, working with the Medical Workforce Advisor and Officer to support the delivery of national and regional targets.
  • Work with the Medical Workforce Advisor to identify and implement any changes to working practice resulting from People Digital.
