We are looking for a HR Manager to join us for a period of up to 1 year, to provide operational management of the HR Advisory Service. The role also ensures the Trust is able to fulfil the employee relations / people management objectives. This will be achieved through formal line management, advising and coaching of team members and developing systems and processes that enable a high quality service provision.
It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager this is possible before applying. Applicants who are not employed by an NHS organisation, will receive a fixed term contract.
Management & leadership • Line management to the HR advisory team including operational management duties Casework and maintaining attendance • Oversight of all cases, including absence cases and ensure high quality advice provision and timely cases progression throughout. • Provide a proactive, professional and comprehensive response to employee relation / people management challenges though informal advice and guidance. • Provide support and leadership to formal casework through specialist advice
Job Evaluation • Advise managers on job evaluation and give specialist advice on developing job descriptions within a service structure. Participate in job matching panels and consistency checking.
