We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our busy and supportive HR department. You will provide business-focused HR advice and support to managers and colleagues, and offer operational HR advice to managers across Care Groups and Directorates.

About You:

  • You'll need a Master's degree or equivalent in HR or a relevant subject area, alongside being CIPD qualified or working towards your qualification.
  • With comprehensive, in-depth experience in a busy HR department, you'll bring a customer-focused approach
  • You will have experience working with trade unions and managing complex HR cases.
  • You'll be able to work with managers, HR teams, and partners to support the Trust's goals and deliver excellent HR services.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the HR Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:

Provide specialist HR advice on employee relations, terms, conditions, and ensure compliance with employment law and NHS guidelines.

Develop, review, and implement HR policies and strategies, ensuring understanding of legislative requirements and best practices.

Facilitate organisational change projects, ensuring positive employee relations and effective communication throughout transitions.

Deliver HR training programmes to ensure understanding and application of HR procedures across the Trust.

Collaborate with HR teams and partners to share knowledge, ensure service delivery and support colleagues.

Manage HR projects, identify service improvements, and gather feedback to enhance HR operations and effectiveness.
