We are recruiting to both permanent and fixed-term/secondment HR Advisor opportunities within our supportive and fast-paced HR Business Partnering and Advisory Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for HR professionals looking to further develop their employee relations experience within a busy NHS environment.

Our team delivers a high-quality HR service, providing advice and support to managers and staff across the Trust both face-to-face and virtually. Working closely with teams including Resourcing, Payroll, Medical Workforce and Workforce Information, our HR Advisors manage a varied and complex caseload covering the full range of employee relations matters including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, flexible working and organisational change.

We are a supportive and collaborative team with a positive culture and flexible hybrid working arrangements. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to HR training delivery, Trust induction, workforce initiatives and policy development across the organisation.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers across a wide range of employee relations matters, supporting services to manage workforce issues fairly, consistently and in line with Trust policy and employment legislation.

You will manage a varied and complex caseload, support organisational change activity, contribute to workforce initiatives and help develop manager capability through coaching, guidance and training delivery.

The role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills alongside the ability to work independently within a busy operational environment.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We are looking for applications from HR professionals who are knowledgeable about UK employment law and HR best practice and who already have experience of dealing with a wide range of employee relations issues.

The successful candidate should have the ability to manage a busy and complex ER caseload, build effective working relationships and communicate confidently with managers and staff at all levels.
