**This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the ‘ECT Family’ this includes current East Cheshire NHS Trust employees, both NHSP and ECT bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from applicants not listed within these groups. **

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the team within Ward 9 as a Housekeeper.

In return, you will find your contribution is valued and that you are supported through excellent management and a teamwork approach, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with doctors, health care assistants, physiotherapists, and other allied health professionals.

Hours per week 22.5 (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)

Main duties of the job

We offer comprehensive learning and development support, excellent training opportunities and support to broaden your experience, knowledge, and skills as a Housekeeper.

  • Have responsibility for housekeeping duties on the ward
  • Disseminate good practice to ward teams to ensure service is maintained in their absence
  • Provide an efficient housekeeping service, ensuring that high standards are always maintained. Ensure that  a friendly, welcoming, clean, organised, safe and comfortable working environment is provided for patients, visitors and staff
