We have 1 x 20 hour position available for Hotel Services Assistant positions that have arisen at Keir Hardie University Health Park.

To support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Housekeeping and Catering services to the National Standards for these services in NHS Wales,  HIW standard 5 and 9 and Organisational Standards.  To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices; and helping to maintain open, effective communication.

Main duties of the job

We have 1 x 20 hour position available for Hotel Services Assistant positions that have arisen at Keir Hardie University Health Park.

The successful candidate will be required to work within a coffee shop environment and previous experience would be an asset. The main duties of this post include servcie within Keir Hardie Coffee shop with a requirement to support patient feeding when required within the Day Centre, working in accordance with departmental schedules and specifications and in line with all cleanliness and legislative requirements that govern the delivery of the Catering Service such as Food Safety Act 1990, Food Hygiene (Wales) Legislation 2006, Food Handling policies and procedures, COSHH and HACCP procedures.

Flexibility is essential and the successful candidates  will be expected to adapt to service pressures and modernization. Also the successful candidates would need to be flexible with regard to movement throughout all Health Board sites. The successful candidates must observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy and consideration to all patients and fellow employees.
