Due to service redevelopment, we have some exciting opportunities for Band 8a Clinical Psychology posts within Ealing CAMHS:

  • Mental Health Support Team Plus (0.5WTE, permanent) •    Neurodevelopmental Team (0.6 WTE, permanent) •    CAMHS-LD (Up to 0.8WTE, permanent) •    CAMHS-LD (Up to 0.9WTE, 6 months fixed-term) •    Child and Family Team (1.0 WTE, 6 months fixed-term) We are keen to create bespoke jobs that fit with candidate’s skills and areas of interest and so encourage both full-time and part-time candidates to apply.

We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled and innovative clinicians who are able to maintain clinical curiosity and engage in reflective practice as well as advocate for young people and families’ needs. Successful candidates would support and implement our commitments to staff wellbeing, manageable job plans and giving staff the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge further whilst in role.

Main duties of the job

Ealing CAMHS both have a strong multi-disciplinary approach and thrive on innovative practice to meet the local population needs of a culturally and economically diverse borough.  You will be committed to ensuring that the service is accessible and effective.

You will be joining a welcoming psychology team in Ealing and West London who are committed to service improvement, staff well-being, and who value diversity in our workforce. We have strong links with the North London Clinical Psychology training courses and offer placements to trainees within our service, as well as apprenticeships in Clinical Associate Psychology.

You will offer a high-quality psychology service to young people, families and carers, alongside working effectively with your colleagues and liaising with other professionals in the network supporting the young person. The post provides excellent opportunities for professional development and you will receive regular supervision from a Principal Clinical Psychologist.
