An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for a Band 7 Team Lead Occupational Therapist – 30 hours per week. The post holder will work as a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist with responsibility for the day to day management of the Occupational Therapy Team based in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Dundee (CAMHS), providing a service to CYP across Tayside.
The Occupational Therapy Service provides a three-tiered model of service delivery to support children and young people’s occupational performance. You will be based in CAMHS, Dundee and will be required to work flexibly across NHS Tayside in a variety of community settings including outpatient clinics, mainstream schools, home visits and variable community locations. The post holder will work closely with a wide range of professionals and agencies including other health professionals within CAMHS, education, and social work.
We are looking for an individual who has good communication skills, leadership skills, ideally previous clinical experience in this area, and the ability to work as part of a team. Applicants should have an Honours Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy and relevant post graduate training / experience.
The post will offer the post holder the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative service and play an instrumental role in continuing to develop the service to meet the needs of the children and young people in Tayside.
