An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Chief Clinical Physiologist to join our supportive and dynamic Cardiovascular Invasive team. This role offers the chance to be part of an innovative and forward-thinking department, where your contributions will make a significant impact on patient care.
We work a compressed short week with four working days (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM), providing an excellent work-life balance. There is also an element of On-Call responsibility for implanted devices. On successful appointment, we are hopeful that the On-Call commitment will be a 1 in 6 weekends to begin with. Please note, we do not have a PPCI service.
A DGH with all the advantages of not being a large centre we still implant and look after all the devices on the market. Being one of the biggest implanters of LBBap we are a forward looking department with great opportunities to further your career

You’ll work in a highly specialised cardiac field, delivering complex investigative procedures. You’ll develop your skills across a range of cutting‑edge invasive and non‑invasive investigations, with support to progress as a CSP leader and ICM Implanter. As an independent practitioner, you’ll manage your own cases, provide essential diagnostics, and support Clinical Physiologist‑led clinics. We’re also exploring flexible ways of working, including the option for one day working from home to support better work–life balance.
