Are you looking for a new role in a welcoming and professional team?  Are you passionate about providing a vital service to our community?

Ealing NHS Talking Therapies (previously IAPT) service was established in 2008 and we have been doing great work ever since! We are a large team of over 70 members of staff and are currently working on further expansion and development of our service and because of this we are now seeking several experienced therapists to join us.

What we offer:

As a full-time clinician you would manage an average of 20 attended clinical contacts per week. These are mostly treatment and assessment patients plus meetings, admin and running therapy groups, providing supervision and managing projects. Through this job plan variety clinicians develop project management, leadership and supervision skills with us.

Clinical and line management supervision is part of our success, and as a qualified high intensity therapist you will benefit from weekly clinical supervision, monthly line management supervision, and monthly step 3 clinical skills.

The significant benefit of hybrid working is we are able to support clinicians in meeting all of the requirements to fulfil their accreditation needs. In addition to this, we operate a duty system on a daily basis with daily debrief to make sure that all new assessments are discussed promptly.

You will need experience of risk management and assessment, formulation and treatment of Talking Therapies appropriate disorders. We are keen to fill gaps in experience though, through our comprehensive CPD and supervision programme, and we offer ongoing support via debrief and senior duty at all times.

Please see the attached Job Pack for full details about this role.

Ealing Talking Therapies is passionate about offering a great quality therapy to our patients and we are very proud to be able to consistently offer all the Talking Therapies -approved therapies, such as EMDR, DIT, IPT, BCT, and CfD. To that effect, we are committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of our staff and training in additional Talking Therapies modalities is highly encouraged.

Our main base is in Ealing where we have access to over 16 clinic rooms and two open plan offices. In addition to this, we run clinics at GP surgeries across the borough, covering areas such as Southall, Acton, and Chiswick. Our service is well-established and many of our staff have been with us since our service launched.

This post involves being able to work at least one evening session (12pm – 8pm) per week.

The management team at Ealing Talking Therapies is committed to staff wellbeing and we have recently commissioned a QI project on staff wellbeing, led by staff across the different staff groups within the team.

We think Ealing Talking Therapies is a fantastic place to work!

We would be delighted to receive applications from clinicians interested in service development within ethnic minority communities and supporting the service in improving treatment outcomes and diversity of access more broadly, as this is an area of focus for our service.
