An innovative and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker to join our team within the above area. The successful applicant will be expected to work autonomously under the supervision of the RN as well as use their enhanced skills with a view to delivering excellent care.
You should ideally be educated to SVQII level or possess a willingness to work towards this with a view to achieving SVQIII or equivalent. You should be able to evidence excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience as a Health Care Support Worker within an in-patient hospital setting would be desirable but is not essential.
This is a chance to fully develop and further enhance skills and knowledge you may already possess. You should be energetic, enthusiastic, reliable, highly motivated and interested in developing further within the role. You must have the ability to work with people and have the ability to prioritise your workload.
You will be expected to complete the Mandatory Induction Standards For Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
