Band 3 Health Care Support Worker
Part Time 17 Hours per week Temporary 12 months 1/6/27
We are looking to recruit a part- time enthusiastic, experienced and flexible Healthcare Support Worker to assist the multi-disciplinary team in delivering our Sexual Health Service. You will be based at our clinic at the Rotherham Hospital Central site, though there may be times when you will be required to work at our other sites across the service. You will provide Sexual Health Screening to our patients, chaperone members of our clinical team, and assist with a variety of clinical procedures; including microscopy and phlebotomy.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be committed to a high standard of service delivery, Confident and calm under pressure when working in a busy clinical environment Able to work flexibly and show willingness to work across locality clinics In possession of good communication skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team Open minded in nature and not judgmental Able to work in a highly confidential environment Trained in phlebotomy. The successful candidate will be flexible to meet the needs of the service opening hours are Monday to Saturday, incorporating four late evenings until 7.30pm.
