Were looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our Outpatients Department. Become part of our friendly and dedicated team, where youll help deliver high-quality, personalized care to our patients in a safe and clean environment.

This is a part time post working 22.5 hours per week

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will:

  • Support experienced Consultant Surgeons in a range of Outpatient Clinics, including vascular and general surgery.
  • Provide compassionate care to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Work within a team committed to maintaining the highest standards of nursing service.
  • Occasionally assist in clinics that extend beyond regular hours (until 6:00 PM for specific services).

Main duties of the job

The main duties of a healthcare support worker are:

Undertake clinical procedures following assessment of competencies by qualified senior members of staff

Carry out delegated nursing care

Provide safe and effective care

Identifies areas for the improvement

liaise with nursing staff for information regarding Observations, lab samples, blood sugar monitoring, dressings and further health checks.

stores to be restocked daily.

comply with policies and procedures of the ward.
