Healthcare Support Worker – Mental Health (Ref: 247049)

Full Time – 36 hours per week

Band 3 - Salary Range £29,103 - £31,409 per annum

Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker, to join the Community Mental Health Team. The role will involve the support of patients with their planned programmes of care within the Community Adult Mental Health Team.

The scope of the role will include assisting qualified practitioners in the assessment, planning and delivery of care interventions, including individual, clinic, or group work appropriate to the post holder’s level of training and experience. Candidates should be able to demonstrate, trauma informed practice in treating service users with respect and courtesy, maintaining their dignity and confidentiality while respecting individuals’ needs and differences. The role includes aspects such as working independently delivering treatment interventions as directed by qualified practitioners to patients in the community, in clinic or ward based care. The hours of this role may be flexible to provide support and care to people out with the core hours of service.
