An opportunity has arisen for permanent part time Band 3 Health Care Support Worker working 24 hours per week within Caia Park District Nursing Team.

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out designated work, much of which will involve direct patient care.  This care will be delegated by registered nurses and the post-holder will be expected to work under the indirect supervision of trained staff.  On occasions take responsibility to undertake a task from a direct referral, outside District Nursing Team.

Full induction into posts will be supported, with opportunities for further career development.

Health Care Support Workers play a key role in the delivery of safe and effective care. As core members of the District Nursing Team, BCUHB (East) will recognise and value your contribution.
