Job summary

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a part time post up to 31 hours per week within the Gynaecology nursing team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

We are looking for a highly motivated Band 2 Heath Care Assistant who has an enthusiasm for womens health and is keen to be part of our dedicated nursing team on the Womens Health Unit. This unit carries out ambulatory gynaecology procedures such as hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and cystoscopy and gynaecology clinics.

You will work as part of the nursing team in order to assist the senior nurses in providing clinically excellent, compassionate care acting as the patients advocate and chaperone. You should have excellent communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues, promoting the Trusts values. You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge withinGynaecology.

Gynaecologyservices at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust are offered across our three hospital sites; Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Kidderminster Treatment Centre and The Alexandra Hospital, Redditch. We comprise of the Womens Health Unit, Emergency Gynaecology Assessment Unit and inpatient gynaecology and gynaecology sub-speciality services.
