Amersham Hospital is one of several Community Hospitals within the Trust. We have three inpatient areas: Chartridge Ward, Waterside Unit, and Buckinghamshire Neuro Rehabilitation Unit.
We are looking to appoint new Healthcare Assistants to join our team on Waterside Unit.
We are looking for enthusiastic & caring individuals, with excellent communication skills.
We require you to have a good standard of English and numeracy skills, and a passion for looking after older people.

Waterside Unit is a 21 bedded ward within the Integrate Elderly Care Division. We care for individuals who are medically optimised and requiring a period of rehabilitation prior to discharge home with support if required or a placement in a Nursing or Residential Home. Our patients often have multiple health needs & chronic conditions.
You will need to have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, the ability to work both within a team and independently, and the ability to offer a high level of nursing care. Training and clinical supervision opportunities are available to the successful candidates.
Working on Waterside Unit you will be working closely with a large multi-disciplinary team consisting of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors, pharmacists, social workers & discharge coordinators.
