The Day Hospital at Western Isles Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our Nurse-led team. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with registered nurses and medical staff to ensure patients receive safe, effective, and timely care. You will contribute to clinical care, patient monitoring and maintaining a positive, therapeutic environment.
The Ambulatory Care Unit supports adults presenting with a range of medical and condition-specific needs that can be safely managed on a same-day basis. Patients are referred from GP services and speciality clinics.
The successful candidates will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full-time employment or up to six months for part time workers. For further information see www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk.
