Main duties of the job

With the patient at the centre of all you do, we are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic and confident, experienced, Nursing Assistants, who are able under supervision, to provide the highest standard of care. You will need to be able to prioritise, work under pressure and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Being a member of staff here means treating everyone with respect. It means working together and embracing change to achieve excellence in every part of the hospital. Most of all, it means encompassing a desire to take personal responsibility for ensuring our patients get the highest quality care they deserve. Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Your role will be to assist the nursing staff to deliver the highest quality care to all our patients.

Your duties will include:

helping with washing, dressing and toileting needs,

taking patients observations

assisting with meals and helping patients to eat and drink

helping to keep the ward clean and tidy and well stocked

escorting patients to other departments

Enthusiasm, hard work and a desire to give high quality care are important qualities to have.  In return  we will provide a friendly supportive environment with plenty of training on the ward.
