We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic highly motivated Health Visitor ( Full and Part time ) to join the Enfield Health Visiting teams. We are looking for health visitors with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our 0-5 yrs health visiting team, contributing to the delivery of the 'The Healthy Child Programme' across Enfield. We welcome all applicants, experienced or newly qualified. The teams consist of Health Visitors, Community Staff Nurses, Community Nursery Nurses and Health Visitor Assistance under the management of a team Lead. The post holder will be a qualified Health Visitor. You will work autonomously as part of the Health Visiting Team managing a designated caseload of children and families, in order to improve their health and enable them to reach their full potential.
You will manage an identified enhanced caseload and work collaboratively with other agencies to provide high quality care to children and families. Child protection work will involve gathering and analysing information to make informed assessments, appropriate referrals and participating and contributing at case conferences and core group meetings.
To identify and monitor the health needs of a given population and facilitate the implementation of evidence based health care.
To develop public health initiatives in line with local and national priorities which promote, protect and improve the health of the population and reduce health inequalities.
To support the Team Lead/Manager CYP in developing innovative practice
