The ChatHealth 0-5-year-old text messaging service supports parents and carers with expert advice from health visitors and community nursery nurses relating to a wide range of children's health and wellbeing issues including sleep, feeding, crying babies, development and behaviour. As well as giving advice, the team signpost to appropriate online resources, face-to-face services, and a range of support. ChatHealth is an integral part of the innovative and continuous digital development of the 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service offer to children, young people and families across Hampshire.

We are recruiting for a part-time Band 6 Health Visitor (22.5 hours, you will be required to work Wednesday-Friday).

The service runs Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

This service will be an opportunity for you to work hybrid across Wednesday-Friday. You will predominantly be home working therefore there is an element of lone working. You will be allocated a local base that you can work from if you chose to. We will ensure you will be able to meet regularly as a team to receive great support and leadership from the wider health visiting service. Safeguarding, clinical and management supervision will be provided, and you will have access to a wide range of development and learning opportunities to ensure you maintain and grow your professional skills and knowledge.

An element of travel is required for meetings and training, so the post holders will require access to a car.

0-5 ChatHealth is a text messaging service set up to support parents, carers and families of under 5's in Hampshire.

The service is run by Health Visitors and Community Nursery Nurses who have a wealth of experience of working with mums and dads-to-be, babies, toddlers and young children.

The 0-5 ChatHealth Service can support with advice and questions from parents, carers and families relating to a wide range of health and wellbeing issues including crying babies, infant feeding, starting baby on solid foods, sleep and behaviour problems. As well as giving advice, the team can signpost to appropriate services and other support.
