We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic health care assistant to work as part of a team on ward 4 in the Princess of Wales Hospital.
Ward 4 is a speciality ward caring for patients with acute cardiology and endocrine problems. It is a busy and fast paced environment where the whole strive to ensure excellent and safe care is delivered to all patients.

Provision of care to patients with medical conditions- mainly cardiology and endocrine under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable at Level 3 Speaking/Listening (or ‘B1’ Level if you’ve learnt Welsh as an adult). This doesn’t mean you have to be fluent or able to write long reports in Welsh; it just means being able to hold simple conversations with patients. The Health Board currently operate a number of different shift systems. The most common are a 12.5 hour shift, inclusive of either one 30 minute or two 30-minute unpaid breaks. These shift patterns are subject to review and the Health Board reserves the right to change working arrangements.
