We are looking for an experienced leader who can lead NHS Tayside’s Information Governance and Cyber Assurance Team.
The Head of Information Governance and Cyber Assurance provides strategic leadership for Information Governance and Cyber Assurance across the organisation and is also the Data Protection Officer for NHS Tayside.
The Head of Information Governance and Cyber Assurance provides expert advice and guidance to the organisation on all matters relating to information governance, data protection, cyber assurance, freedom of information and corporate records management.
The Head of Information Governance and Cyber Assurance leads a team of specialist staff who develop, monitor and oversee the implementation of NHS Tayside’s Information Governance and Cyber Assurance agenda, including data protection, information security, freedom of information, confidentiality, Caldicott, corporate records and cyber assurance.
As the ideal candidate you will be highly motivated with specialist knowledge, experience and understanding of Information Governance and Cyber Assurance.
You should be an inclusive leader with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a flexible approach to work, the ability to prioritise a demanding workload and perform well under pressure.
