Accountable for:
- Management and delivery of the Children’s and Young People’s (CYP) Management Services for NHFT, ensuring high quality, effective and efficient care for patients in receipt of CYP Mental Health Services from the Trust.
- Delivery of integrated, seamless pathways across the Trust and partner organizations for patients primarily managed within the CYP Mental Health Services.

- Intensive Outreach Team
- CAMHS Inpatient

There is significant change and investment across CYP Mental Health Services to reflect a landscape of rising referral numbers and levels of acuity. The joining up of Community CAMHS services/Crisis/Intensive Outreach and Inpatient has never been more vital. A key element of the role will be monitoring and responding to surges in all of the areas to ensure safe, effective and person-centered care throughout the CAMHS journey.
Main duties of the job
- To ensure effective and mutually beneficial partnership working within the accountable areas, all other Trust services and with external stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement and maximize the health outcomes of the populations/s served.
- To work with medical, and other multi-disciplinary team colleagues, to ensure that resources are used, and allocated, to their maximum efficiency.
- To deliver against all performance indicators for the accountable areas, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
- To provide effective and inspirational leadership to the accountable areas to achieve quality, clinical effectiveness and successful services
- To provide and develop a positive working environment and open culture which fosters high morale and commitment amongst all staff and promotes their wellbeing, professional and personal developments
- To ensure that services are developed in line with population needs, service demand and agreed national and local priorities
- To be accountable for the direct delivery of clinical care across all services within CYP Mental Health Services
- To maintain a high profile and visible role as a leader and champion of Quality. The post holder will be an exceptional individual who can influence, lead, support and motivate staff at all levels.
- To work closely with corporate colleagues to ensure, there is appropriate liaison and facilitate prompt issues response.
