Job summary

Main duties of the job

Be accountable for the management and delivery of services on a day-to-day operational basis across the Care Group.

Directly supervise a range of Team/Service Leads working within the Care Group.

Ensure Team/Service Managers are accountable for the performance and quality of service delivery within their teams.

`Walk the floor` maintaining a high profile amongst teams/services. Use all means of communication to ensure staff are well briefed on developments across the Trust.

Ensure the identification of risk within the service, facilitating and appropriate action to reduce risk in line with Trust policy.

Ensure that services within the Care Group meet standards set by the CQC.

Support the Divisional Director to deliver CIPs by redesigning and reviewing services, realising efficiencies by fostering and encouraging a creative innovative approach to service delivery.
