Our work continues to make a real difference, and recruiting into our team will help us continue to reach young people who can benefit from our support.

We know how important it is to provide both direct and indirect support—whether that's one-to-one sessions, group work, or collaborating with carers and other professionals. Our approach has always been holistic, ensuring that we work in partnership with everyone involved in a young person's care. This new team member will be key in helping us maintain that standard and further develop our collaborative practices

This is also an amazing opportunity for the successful applicant to gain experience that supports personal and professional development.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. As a senior practitioner you will have a genuine interest in collaborative working with young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems  and including their carers and families.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to develop their leadership and clinical skills in a community setting.

As a core member of the team, you will also be responsible for your own caseload, providing assessments, care co-ordination and care planning and delivering intervention in the community.  You will demonstrate excellent assessment skills, interpersonal, and team working skills and be able to work collaboratively with a range of statutory and third sector agencies.

Nursing candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework at the time of applying.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You will have an enthusiastic approach towards your own personal and professional development. In return, you will receive regular appraisal, clinical, management and caseload supervision and will benefit from the support of an experienced and committed multi-disciplinary leadership team.
