Job overview

We require a knowledgeable, highly motivated, and well organised individual to work in this busy and dynamic care group to be responsible for the development and monitoring of the effective administration systems and processes for the investigation/completion of Incidents, Complaints,  Risks, Incidents, Claims, Inquests and  Freedom of Information requests.

You will lead on ensuring the Quality and Governance leadership team is fully supported in the execution of Patient safety Group  meetings and the provisions of administration support.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders when required, including our staff, service users and subject matter experts, healthcare providers, police and other third parties in the protection and provision of information.

Excellent communication skills are required, and a keen eye for detail as you will be supporting the development and management of reporting systems to provide the Care group  with effective, timely and accurate information to support with oversight and assurance.

Main duties of the job

Have administrative oversight of incident management within the care group

Support the administration of any investigations being undertaken by the Care Group.

Be the main point of contact for Trust InPhase Administrator / Trainers.

Be the central point of contact for the completion of learning responses offering support to relevant managers to ensure action plans, resulting from all incidents are completed in a timely fashion and associated action planning is systemised and monitored.

To ensure complaints are investigated and comprehensive reports/responses are provided for forwarding to the PALS and complaints Team.

To ensure all actions identified from complaints are completed and that evidence is provided within the requested timescales. To maintain a full record on InPhase.

To ensure inquest statement requests are managed  in a timely manner.

To provide accurate reports to Clinical Governance meetings.

To support the Chair of the Patient Safety Group with the agenda and supporting documents.

To develop a practical system for the management of Care Group meetings, to ensure agendas, minutes and papers are provided and stored appropriately in a timely manner.
