Postholders will contribute to all aspects of the Specialty and Integrated Medicine service. We expect a particular focus on: Good clinical care; Maintaining good medical practice; Good relationships and communication with patients; Good working relationships with colleagues; Good teaching and training; Professional behaviour and probity. The ideal applicants for these positions will therefore be able to demonstrate excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills. They will be able to work cooperatively with colleagues across our multidisciplinary teams, managing their time effectively. The successful applicants will be committed to providing expert medical care, including discharge planning, in patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Post-holders will be given the option of contributing to an out-of-hours rota providing cover for SDEC and medical admissions, as well as our in-patient wards.
