Are you an experienced and compassionate Forensic Psychologist looking to apply your expertise within a highly supportive, forward-thinking NHS Community Directorate?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forensic Psychologist to join our developing specialist service in North Lincolnshire. The role is part-time (2 days per week) and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced psychological professionals across our community and secondary care pathways.
Our North Lincolnshire Community Directorate brings together a wide range of multidisciplinary teams who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred and trauma-informed care. We work from our newly developed, purpose-built community base in Scunthorpe.

The post holder will: • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for people with complex mental health and forensic needs. • Offer consultation, advice and supervision to multidisciplinary colleagues, promoting trauma-informed practice. • Contribute to service development, evaluation and audit, embedding evidence-based approaches and high standards of care. • Participate in risk assessment and management, supporting safe, effective care planning. • Supervise and develop trainee psychologists. • Contribute to MDT formulation, reflective practice and staff wellbeing. About the Service The North Lincolnshire Community Directorate includes integrated community, primary care, rehabilitation and crisis pathways. You’ll join a team of psychological professionals with strong leadership and a commitment to innovation and co-production. About You You will have: • A BPS-accredited Doctorate in Forensic or Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist • Experience in forensic or complex mental health settings • Skills in formulation, assessment, evidence-based intervention and risk assessment • Experience of multidisciplinary working, supervision and consultation You will bring a compassionate, reflective, trauma-informed approach and a collaborative style.
