An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Maternity Care Assistant to join the Fetal Medicine Unit at Newham University Hospital.
The post holder will support the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to women and families accessing specialist Fetal Medicine services. Working under the supervision of registered midwives and Consultant Doctors and Fellows, the Maternity Care Assistant will contribute to the smooth running of the service, ensuring that patients receive a professional and supportive experience throughout their care pathway.
The role requires a flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to prioritise workload, work both independently and as part of a team, and respond appropriately to the needs of women receiving care within what can often be a complex and emotionally sensitive environment.
