The Families First Partnership (FFP) aims to transform children's social care by fostering collaboration between health visitors, social workers, and other professionals to provide early intervention and support for families. It focuses on enhancing "Family Help," improving, safeguarding, and supporting families to stay together.
The Families First Partnerships Mobilisation Officer will take a strategic and professional lead on aspects of supporting the Place mobilisation of the Families First Partnership Programme. Providing support to partners, service providers and linking with named safeguarding health professionals, local authority children’s services, Local Safeguarding Children Partnerships (LSCPs) and NHS England. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Humber 0-19 Specialist Public Health Nursing service, Humber Safeguarding Team and other Humber Children’s services and East Riding Local Authority.
The post requires someone with the knowledge, enthusiasm, and vision to drive forward the Families First Partnership agenda for Children's services across East Riding. The role will suit an individual with extensive public health nursing experience and skills in transformation and change management. Strong interpersonal, strategic, and technical skills in operational delivery, service planning, change implementation and performance improvement combined with a supportive and visible leadership style are essential.
The post holder should be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of prevention and family support which can demonstrate a positive impact in supporting children and families to achieve good health and developmental outcomes.
