Main duties of the job

  • Your primary responsibility will involve assisting in the configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices, including desktops, VDIs, laptops, mobile devices and their applications.
  • Working under the guidance of senior engineers and digital teams, you will contribute to ensuring the efficient operation of EUC systems, adhering to NHS standards and protocols.
  • You will be tasked with providing technical support to resolve EUC issues and incidents efficiently. Leveraging your problem-solving skills and knowledge of EUC technologies, you will diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to minimise downtime and disruptions to healthcare services, thereby ensuring optimal user experience.
  • You will assist in implementing basic security measures to protect EUC environments and sensitive data. This may include assisting in the management of antivirus software, ensuring compliance with security policies, and supporting efforts to mitigate cybersecurity risks within EUC systems.
  • You will contribute to the improvement and optimisation of EUC infrastructure through your dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to providing high-quality technical support services to patients and staff within the NCA.
  • You’ll troubleshoot issues, configure devices, and implement security measures—all while working in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
