We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and highly organised Estates Supervisor to join our Estates team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. Help deliver high quality operational maintenance services across our Trusts retained estate and elements of the PFI facilities.

Main duties of the job

As the Estates Supervisor, you will report directly to the Estates Operational Manager and play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of operational maintenance services across the Trust.

You will:

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day estates operational maintenance activities
  • Support the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient building and engineering services
  • Ensure services operate in line with relevant regulatory and advisory frameworks, HTMs, technical guidance, and recognised industry best practice
  • Utilise Workforce Planning Protocols, Estates Guidance Notices, and comprehensive audit processes to drive service quality and performance
  • Take a proactive approach to compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement
  • Support and maintain the departments ISO9001:2015 accreditation standards
  • Work collaboratively with contractors, clinical teams, and wider Trust departments to ensure high standards across the estate
