About the Role

As part of our Estates & Facilities team, you’ll deliver high-quality electrical maintenance across the Trust. From planned servicing to urgent repairs, you’ll help create a safe, comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This varied role offers the chance to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

What We’re Looking For A proactive, organised electrician who takes pride in high standards. You’ll be confident managing both planned and reactive work, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and calibrate electrical systems and equipment
  • Maintain distribution systems, lighting, fire alarms, and building management systems
  • Support generators, access control, and nurse call systems
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and departments
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, British Standards, and HTM guidance
