NHS Highland has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Dental Officer based in the Inverness Dental Centre, UHI House, Raigmore campus 1 day per week on a Tuesday.
Working as part of an experienced team this post will have a responsibility to supervise students providing clinical care to patients as part of the University of Dundee BDS Dental outreach programme. They will be the supervising clinician supervising up to 5 bays in the teaching polyclinic for students in their 4th and final years. Students will be providing a range of treatments as part of their training including emergency dental care for unregistered patients. The successful candidate will also be expected to see patients with outstanding courses of treatment from the teaching wing out-with the student term time and participate in the emergency dental service when required out-with term time.
Due to the level of supervision this is suitable for an experienced clinician.
