As part of the EPR Programme, we are seeking an experienced Digital Midwife to lead the perinatal element of a single Electronic Patient Record.
The role provides clinical leadership across maternity services, ensuring the EPR supports safe, high-quality care and aligns with national standards.
Working within the Digital Health and EPR team, and with colleagues across three Trusts, the Digital Midwife will: • Act as the maternity subject matter expert, influencing system design and workflows • Engage midwifery, obstetric and neonatal teams to reflect real clinical practice • Support development of a standardised perinatal record across sites • Drive adoption through communication, training and change management • Ensure clinical safety, adhering to DCB0129 and DCB0160 • Contribute to design, build, testing, go-live and optimisation • Support readiness for digital working • Promote continuous improvement and innovation
This leadership role requires working across organisations, influencing stakeholders and balancing clinical and programme priorities.

The role combines remote and on-site working across JPUH, NNUH and QEH.

You will work closely with midwifery, obstetric and neonatal teams to translate clinical practice into effective digital workflows, influencing system build, testing, training and adoption. The role also includes supporting organisational readiness, championing digital ways of working, and driving continuous improvement post go-live. You will play a key role in embedding clinical safety, working alongside Clinical Safety Officers to ensure compliance with national standards.
