We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Dental Nurse who has a passion for dentistry. This is a new role within the Community Dental Service, this role will provide chairside assistance to all levels of clinician. The suitable candidate will be part of an experienced team, who will offer support and mentorship to enable you to develop and grow within the role. The candidate must maintain high standards of clinical care and be committed to their continual professional development. The candidate must be a qualified and registered dental nurse. The candidate will be given the opportunity to attend training and development in order to carry out the duties within the job description. Some travel across the district is a requirement for the role in order to successfully undertake the range of duties specified within the job description. Therefore, it is essential that applicants have the ability to travel across the district as and when required to meet the needs and demands of the service.

To work under the supervision of senior staff to gain experience and skills in:
Clinical practice by: - providing chairside and clerical assistance to all grade of clinician within the service - preparing the dental surgery and surrounding environment for clinical sessions Patient management: - provide high quality and safe dental care to medically complex and hard to reach groups
