Main duties of the job

The Endoscopy Booking Officer is responsible for the efficient and accurate booking of endoscopy procedures, supporting the delivery of a safe, timely, and patient-centred service.

You will manage referrals, appointment scheduling, waiting lists, and patient communications in line with Trust policies, national targets, and NHS guidelines.

Requiring close collaboration with clinical teams, administrative colleagues, and patients to ensure effective use of endoscopy capacity, adherence to referral-to-treatment (RTT) standards, and a positive patient experience.

You will have previous administrative or customer service experience, good IT and communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. Experience working in a healthcare or NHS setting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
