An opportunity has arisen for an Endoscopy Patient Booking Officer to join our small team.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has good communications skills and is enthusiastic about providing the best patient care possible.
Approximately 9,000 scopes are carried out across the four Endoscopy Units in Highland every year which includes elective and emergency patients.
Your role will be to book patients which includes sending letters, calling patients, receiving calls on appointment phoneline and also to provide an administrative service to the Lead Booking Officer. This includes tracking patients for monitoring purposes and liaising with clinical colleagues.
Candidates should possess good administrative qualifications or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a good working knowledge of computer software packages.
