Main duties of the job

As an ACP, you will receive comprehensive support to increase your knowledge base and  upskill in all thing’s endocrinology.

• Perform clinical patient reviews and management within your scope of practice.
• Run independent clinics and manage patient pathways and care, with a willingness to develop expertise in congenital hypothyroidism.
• Engage in teaching, non-medical prescribing, and research in relation to endocrinology conditions.
• Maintain databases and provide both acute and long-term care for complex endocrinology patients.
• Develop clinical protocols and care pathways.
• Contribute to evidence-based clinical practice through research, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in delivering education both internally and externally.
• Engagement in both national and international initiatives.
• Provide advanced clinical care, including health assessments, treatment initiation, and monitoring of care programmes.
• Offer expert clinical leadership, advice, and support to ensure high-quality nursing and medical care.
• You are a highly skilled clinician with a passion for providing exceptional care to children and young people with endocrinology conditions.
• You are committed to continuous learning and development and capable of working autonomously as well as part of a dynamic team.
