An exciting secondment opportunity has risen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurse Emergency Department to join our existing team within Walsall Manor Hospital. We are looking for someone who has demonstrative recent experience at band 6 or higher working within an Emergency Department. The ability to work as part of a team and good communication skills are a must. Working a mixture of shifts.

As a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse you will have excellent leadership skills and will embrace the challenge of working in a highly demanding and diverse environment, while actively supporting the nursing team to ensure high standards of care are delivered. This is a very exciting time, and as a senior member of the team you will be in a position to influence and affect emergency care, as we continue to develop our innovative ways of working. This is a rewarding but challenging role, that requires you to organise and priorities patient care to ensure maximum flow through the department, and provide support and advice to junior members of the team and/or students.

We aim to recruit new Nurses that will be keen to work within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to aid Audits and service developments, and in a leadership role will be responsible for a team of Nurses to ensure they are up to date with Appraisal, Training and have provide the management to support your team in ED.
