We are looking for a self-motivated registered nurse/clinical research practitioner (CRP) to work on clinical research studies within the Cambridge Cancer Drug Development Team (CCDD). You will provide care for research patients and will manage, with support, the administration and day to day running of studies, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
Previous oncology or clinical trials experience is essential and previous early phase clinical trials experience is highly desirable. You will need the ability to work in a self-directed and flexible manner.

The CCDD is part of the Cambridge Cancer Trials Centre (CCTC) and benefits from a major commitment from Cancer Research UK, recognising Cambridge's position at the forefront of cancer research.
The Clinical Research Nurse/Practitioner will be a member of the Cambridge Cancer Trials Team. You will work closely with the health care teams associated with the multidisciplinary team.

Most importantly to monitor and report on patient safety events, with close communication with the clinical trials sponsor. This will include liaison with relevant staff of Trust departments including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, pharmacy, radiology, outpatients and in- patients, Research & Development and Ethics departments.
