We are looking to recruit a full time mental health support worker to join a specialist psychosis service. The team works collaboratively with individuals and their families who experience first episode psychosis within a bio psychosocial / spiritual and recovery-based approach.

We work in a multidisciplinary team approach and with excellent formal and informal support to help you manage your workload. Caseloads are set at manageable levels and we offer regular clinical and management supervision along with developmental opportunities relating to our specialist approaches e.g. cognitive behavioural therapy, family therapy skills and recovery.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will support clients with programmes to help manage their anxiety, with social isolation and in all areas of recovery.  This includes increasing access to employment, volunteering, education and improving both mental and physical well being.  Most of the work with clients will be in community, in their homes and in clinic settings.

You will work as part of a team, be open to learning new skills and actively participate in regular supervision including team meetings.

You will be required to keep up to date electronic records.
