Domestic assistant to clean the staff residence.

Providing ancillary services.  Role includes: •    Mopping •    Vacuum cleaning  •    Cleaning of kitchen ara including appliances  •    Cleaning of toilets, bathrooms and shower areas etc •    Curtain change and hanging •    High dusting of wall, ceilings and light fittings, with use of step ladders as required. •    Cleaning of Stairwell  •    Rubbish collection  •    Intermanl window and glass cleaning •    Managing equipment e.g. checking fit for purpose, reporting faults

Main duties of the job

We are a small friendly team based in the grounds of James Cook Hospital.  Full training in the post is given prior to working alone.

Full uniform is provided.

The post holder will undertake cleaning tasks and frequencies within the accommodation that you are assigned to within the time allocated.  The post holder will ensure that the environment where they are assigned meets at all times the required standard and  bring to the attention of their supervisor any situations that prevent the effective cleaning .

• Full bathroom cleaning
• High and low cleaning using step ladders
• Vacuuming
• Cleaning communal stairs
• Reporting faults within the complex
