Job overview

The post holder will be required to support strategic leadership for the division in relation to quality improvement within services, governance processes, and compliance against quality standards and other performance metrics.

The post holder will support the Divisional Head of Nursing on the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance Framework within service delivery, establishing best practice standards and performance targets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing expert guidance to support the delivery of services that reflect the best interests of people who use them.

The successful candidate will be based at Trust Headquarters but be willing to work in person in either Farnham Road Hospital, Silverwood and to Travel to Trust Headquarters and other NHS and contracted sites where appropriate. Subject to reasonable adjustments in respect of any disability, the post holder must be licensed and able to drive and have the unrestricted use of a bicycle, car or motorcycle for work, at all times.

Main duties of the job

  • Strategic development, implementation and monitoring of Division Quality and Experience Improvement Plan.•    Leading on PSIRF across the division•    Leading on implementing data driven changes across the division•    Preparing reports for Foundation Standards, and strategic meetings•    Presenting data information to the Quartet to guide and inform strategic decision•    Lead and support the co-production of quality and service improvement programmes across the Division.•    Actively lead and support internal Peer Support Review (PSR) audit processes across the division, ensuring that action plans are in place and routinely monitored to deliver required improvements. •    Ensure consistent engagement of service users and carers in quality and experience improvement and monitoring.•    Define quality procedures in conjunction with colleagues; setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.•    Provide an appropriate suite of reports to assist the Divisional Director and senior leaders to implement and manage quality and people’s experience of services.•    Ensure NICE Guidelines and CQC, Monitor and Ofsted regulatory standards (including Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act) are incorporated into the quality processes and actions are implemented to ensure compliance is sustained and monitored effectively.
