Purpose of the Role:
The Digital Service Specialist provides Level 2 IT application support, governance, configuration, and training across the Mater Private Network Health System, with a primary focus on the Meditech Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Acting as a bridge between users and project teams, the role drives software adoption, optimizes workflows, and ensures system performance to support high-quality patient care.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience
- 1 year plus of successful experience in an IT / Data / Systems department in a business of sufficient scale and complexity desirable.
- Successful experience in delivering performance improvement initiatives
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong project management skills with a record of developing and strengthening systems and processes
Interpersonal skills
- Strong level of energy and drive to impact and deliver
- A “doer” attitude, ability and desire to roll-up his/her/Their sleeves and get things done, drive for result
- A strong team player, able to grow and inspire his/her/Their team and beyond
- A collaborator of the highest level, able to bring people together to progress tactical and strategic initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work collaboratively, exercising good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

- High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to periodically participate in meetings and events outside of core business hours
Education
- Level 7 NVQ Financial / Professional / Clinical qualification desirable
