This is an exciting opportunity to join our Adult Hospital Dietetic Team. Based primarily at Victoria Hospital, you will work with adults, their families and carers across a wide range of clinical specialities. The service delivers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including critical care, acute stroke, surgery, gastroenterology, oncology and haematology, renal, respiratory and orthopaedics.We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Dietitian who is passionate about making a difference and ready to take the next step in their career. This post would suit an experienced Band 6 Dietitian looking to further develop specialist knowledge, particularly in nutritional support, or an ambitious Band 5 Dietitian ready to progress and gain broad clinical experience in multiple specialities.A key focus of the role will be to contribute to and develop dietetic services within the Haematology & Oncology Day Unit, for patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatment and haematological supportive care.Additional clinical responsibilities will reflect the successful candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience, alongside current service priorities.We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication, organisational and team working skills. You will have relevant clinical experience, a strong commitment to high-quality patient care and an interest in complex nutrition.Your learning and development are important to us, and you will be supported by an experienced and friendly team. You will contribute to the education and training of others and take part in service innovation, quality improvement and redesign as we continue to shape our dietetic provision.The post sits within the Adult Hospital Team, providing dietetic care to inpatients and outpatients at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, as well as to our wider community and rehabilitation hospitals across Fife.About UsOur Nutrition & Dietetics Service is a friendly Fife-wide service with clinical teams in:• Hospital Services• Community Services• Diabetes & Weight Management• Infant, Children & Young PeopleWe support undergraduate and graduate student placements (A, B & C), offer rotational opportunities for newly qualified dietitians, and host fortnightly education and CPD sessions via Teams. Our service is committed to professional development, innovation, and delivering high-quality, Dietitian-led models of care.What We’re Looking For• HCPC-registered Dietitian with enthusiasm and experience in weight management and/or diabetes care.• Strong communication and behaviour change skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.• Commitment to education, service improvement and patient-centred care.• Ability to travel across Fife.
